The academic program at Westminster Christian Academy provides students with the skills needed to succeed in college, technical careers, the military, and missions. All courses are taught by Christians who embrace and engage in the discipleship of students.

Our teachers and curriculum, coupled with our safe and supportive environment, produce quality educational results. Even throughout the pandemic, our student scores on Renaissance Star Assessments were well above the national average and prior years.

We regularly have National Merit Scholars, most recently three in 2021 and four in 2022. Every year more than two-thirds of our seniors receive academic and athletic scholarships to major universities nationwide.

We teach here because it is a calling, not just a career!

Campus Information

Westminster’s Lower Campus serves elementary school students in Pre-K3 through 5th grade. The Upper Campus serves middle school students in 6th through 8th grade and high school students in 9th through 12th grade. While they share one campus, middle school and high school are on separate floors.

The safety of our students is a top priority, and special measures are in place to ensure that our campuses are safe and secure.

We offer routine testing, tutoring, and academic support to help our students reach their full potential on their educational journey. We offer classroom accomodations, school counseling, and executive functioning coaching to all of our students.

We are a covenantal school for all students, not just the academically elite. Therefore, we offer accommodations for students with all types of learning differences. A small-class pathway is available for those who thrive with more individualized instruction. With a small student-to-teacher ratio, students can move at a slower pace and get the extra attention and support they need.

Technology in the Curriculum

By integrating technology into our curriculum, we help students develop essential skills to succeed in college and the workplace. Students are expected to use these tools in a Christ-honoring manner. Once your student has been admitted to WCA, you’ll gain access to our Blackbaud Parent Portal where you can find more information on our technology policies and procedures.

Chromebook Program

Students in 6th through 8th-grade will receive a Chromebook to use during the school year. These simple yet powerful devices give students access to the technology they need for learning and classroom collaboration while keeping their personal information safe. 9th through 12th-grade students will purchase a Chromebook through the school.

Stem Education

STEM education at Westminster prepares students for innovation in any field by helping them think critically and challenge current standards. Our STEM classes provide hands-on learning and real-world application to help students develop creativity and 21st-century skills such as media and technology literacy, communication, and flexibility.
